Join us for the 2019 NEHA AEC in Nashville, TN.
Please join NEHA BIA in welcoming PwCP to the 2019 NEHA AEC. PwCP will be hosting a meeting on July 9, 2019 from 2:00-3:30 pm.
We hope that you will consider attending this great networking and collaboration opportunity.
Founded in 2018, the “Partners with a Common Purpose” (PwCP) initiative was launched during the 122nd Association of Food and Drug Officials Annual Education Conference held in South Burlington, Vermont. This meeting served as a spring-board for a new initiative. PwCP envisions creating change through a shared vision, or common purpose, that is embraced and supported by both government regulators and industry alike when it comes to improving public health and consumer services.
The concept of Partners with a Common Purpose extends beyond individual stakeholder interests; rather, it aims to drive successful collaboration and innovation by establishing equal partnership at meetings and forums in a safe harbor environment to allow greater input and collaboration toward continuously improving the safety of the food supply and public health. “To have a fully integrated food safety system, industry must be at the table” says Mick Miklos, Director of Food Safety Programing at the National Restaurant Association and chair of the “Partners” steering committee.
